Another rainy Easter, but being true northwesterners we put on our raincoats and went out in the rain for the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. :) Once again, blogspot uploaded my pictures backwards, oh well.
Easter Double Rainbow
Oliver had quite a haul of eggs. That pink one in his hand was his favorite, he wouldn't let it go for the longest time. His hands were cold from being wet, so we actually had to tuck his egg inside his sleeve so he would keep his hands inside and warmer (his coat is fleece lined).

Oliver didn't quite understand the idea of picking up the eggs, so Mommy had to help a bit.

Smarty pants Oliver found a nice little dry spot to stand while waiting for the egg hunt to start.
Can you see all the eggs in the field? Everyone was supposed to bring a dozen eggs per child, so there were lots!
Owen had other ideas about what to do with his bucket, before he discovered the eggs in the field.
I just love the expression on Oliver's face, what a monkey bean! :)
